No, the entire grid.. We have a page using Theme.co X Ethos which is a beautiful full bleed them. When I use Post grid there is white space on either side of the gird’s background. Is there a way to allow the grid to be responsive and borderless?

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

The grid container width is depend on parent elements and grid is already responsive, if you have issue for grid items width for mobile view then set "Grid items width( In Mobile & Tabs: )" in % values. and white space might be padding issue, do you have any live link also please send me a screenshot with mark area. The post revolution Grid allows what I would like but I like your plugin better.

What i can see in your page "post-grid-container-main" wrap by "entry-content" and its width not full width, Please see the screenshot http://i.imgur.com/pdAUruT.png

Where do I set the grid to full width? I only see how to set the individual items in the grid.

On another topic. This is all new to me. I am using the shortcode. Do I also need to put the php coded in a file somewhere?

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

you don’t need to set anywhere, its your theme element should increase or set width to full width, then grid will automatically follow its container width. like if you set full width for element “entry-content” then post grid will automatically follow its parent width. Thanks

Mark replied 1 year ago

I will look at that but I am using the same settings for this plugin as other but getting different results.

PHP code for theme developer, i can see your grid not displaying thumbnails images, please set a dummy value for “External Featured Image(meta key)” please see the screenshot here http://i.imgur.com/E8QvbTf.png regards

I added some new post categories and they are not showing up under Post Taxonomy and Category. Do I need to do something besides Rest Taxonomy to pull them in? Also Is there a way to have an index of categories post at the top of the grid to let the view choose the categories they want to see?

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

Please check the option “Post query orderby” and set “Date” and “Post query order” to “DESC” your latest post will display at top of grid. Regards

That is done and I found the Isotope theme. Its great. Can I change the fonts and background of the Isotope? Remove grey background and Increase size of font? Also Does Post Grid support categories within categories (a subcategory)?

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

All things for styling can be added by “Custom CSS” box please see the tab, can you please give me an example for “categories within categories” could not understand clearly . Regards

If I set up a web conference I could show you what I mean. Or can I send you a screen shot?

Is it filtrable grid you are looking for ? please see the demo. http://paratheme.com/demo/post-grid/?demo=filterable-grid

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

Yes, please send me screenshot. Regards

I fixed the grid by using the isotope theme. Back to an earlier question. Once I removed the background image of standard gray. The post grid worked a lot better in terms of scaling! It now increases columns as I make the web browser wider!

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

Ohhh really ? but i can’t see any relation between background image with columns width, did you set width in % values ? Regards

Mark replied 1 year ago

Where do I set the width of the grid? I only know where to set width of each post?

Hasan Staff replied 1 year ago

Didn’t read me previous answer ? you don’t need to set anywhere, its your theme element should increase or set width to full width, then grid will automatically follow its container width. like if you set full width for element “entry-content” then post grid will automatically follow its parent width. Thanks

Mark replied 1 year ago

Yes I read it but I wasn’t clear in my answer. I did not adjust %.

Mark replied 1 year ago

Hmm. I started fresh and put the grey back in and it works now. Not sure why it was working before. I think the pressing issue for me now is the ability to select subcategories. Thank you for all your help. This plugin is very helpful.

The code I sent you kicked back.. Do you have another email address I can use?
