When i put russian text in fields and click save changes the resulting tables load ok.
(Example text “русский текст”).
Then in edit mode your plug-in loads this text back from database with wrong codepage and on the edit page it transforms to ureadable stuff.
(Example text “русский текст” transforms to “ÑÑÑÑкий ÑекÑÑ”).
Logically if i save changes again then the resulting tables shows this unreadable stuff instead of my russian text.
Please fix it or tell me how to fix it, thanks!
The funny part is that i had no such issue before trying the free 1.2 version before paying for the 1.9.
Welcome to our forum,
Let me check the issue, i will reply when fixed.
Any chance for a fix this week? Totally useless plug-in for me without it.
Hi, Sorry for late reply, i thought you got solved because i can see “русский текст” text exactly displaying in price table please see the screenshot her http://i.imgur.com/BvK0n5h.png this might be the theme issue doesn’t define charset as UTF-8, please see the demo i have created with your text(Russian). http://paratheme.com/demo/price-table/demo-for-%D1%80%D1%83%D1%81%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BA%D1%81%D1%82/
Hi, Hasan. To recall, i can set russian text np like you did in demo, problem appears when price table control panel loads this text back from database, and that’s where it gets converted to unreadable codepage. Thus saving it again creates unreadable result table. The main question is what code loads saved text from database to control panel and i’m not sure it’s the theme.. Thoughts?..
What i can see in my admin save again and again its doesn’t any changes as you mentioned. this might happening you installed your WordPress in another charset
Can you please go contact page and send “Hello” message http://paratheme.com/contact/ i will send a modified version of this plugin and you will need to reinstall and send me feedback. Thanks
Sent.In wordress config i have define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8mb4’); is it ok?..
Can you please check your mail i just send modified version. please use this one before define DB_CHARSET , best regards
Works fine, thanks, hope that will be in new version for everyone 🙂 thanks!
Thanks for your reply, in this modified version there is still another problem you can’t use ” quote inside table data, this might give you php error. Best Regards
