I would like to know if it is possible to reduce/eliminate empty spaces between teams. I’ve created a page for the editorial board (http://balkanistyka.org/redakcja-3-2/), it is divided by countries, but I would like to “squeeze” the content (I’m thinking of this kind of empty space -> http://static.pokazywarka.pl/i/5719249/744074/space.jpg). I’ve already tried to find something in CSS that would be responsible for those values but with no result so far.
Thanks in advance! 🙂
Please check there is an option for “Grid Items Margin (px).” write css value as you need, try decrease top & bottom margin for grid items then the space between members will decrease.
Here is the margin reference
See the screenshot what i mean
It doesn’t work. The page looks like that: [team id=”86454″ ][team id=”86515″ ][team id=”86778″ ][team id=”86779″ ][team id=”86780″ ][team id=”86781″ ][team id=”86782″ ][team id=”86589″ ][team id=”86783″ ][team id=”86523″ ][team id=”86784″ ]. I would like to reduce the gap between them. Whatever I do, there’s still a big empty space between each element.
OMG! why you do this way ? you could get team member by Member id from Filter Member option as i know you are using premium version of Team, see the screenshot what i mean http://i.imgur.com/nguYmD3.png Thanks
Because I don’t get the effect that I need. It’s an editorial board, people are divided by countries they write about. I can’t use Member IDs because I need a specific order of all editors (I could change it by changing the time of publication but it’s problematic since I have to add 20 other people in the next few days and it’s changing quite often) . At first, I wanted to put a headline before each team group but the space between teams was still too big (e.g. Bosnia&Herzegovina: editors from B&H team group; Bulgaria: editors from Bulgaria team group, etc.). 🙁
Again, here you can see what did I mean about this headlines etc. http://balkanistyka.org/redakcja-3-2/ The only problem is that there’s too much empty space (like invisible paragraphs) between headlines and the list of members, and then between each group.
Ok, i understand, each team container has margin-top 50px, and padding-top 40px, you can reduce these values, CSS you find this file : http://balkanistyka.org/wp-content/plugins/team/css/style.css at line: 82
Also another way you can override plugin CSS by using !important, use your value put this CSS on your site header with style tag
margin: 10px 0 !important;
padding: 20px 0 !important;
Thank you a lot! It works now! 🙂
Great to know, if you need more help please let me know.
